Alabama Evangelists

Thank you to everyone who has visited the Alabama Evangelists Website in 2007! I know we are rolling rather slowly at this point, but 2008 looks like it will truly be a year of Harvest! There is an evangelist that lives right here in Alabama that is ready to partner with you to reap and keep your harvest!

Marshall Windsor, the National Evangelists Representative in Springfield has produced a new video highlighting the ministry of the evangelist and his role for the local church in the coming days. It features General Superintendent George O. Wood, former Superintendent Thomas Trask, and Evangelist Dave Roever. We are continuing to receive reports fro our annual Fall Harvest Weekend. Right now, it looks like Assemblies of God Churches in Alabama touched well over 100,000 people! What a wonderful weekend!

We are just a few weeks away from our Second Fall Harvest Weekend October 26-31, 2007. All across Alabama from that Friday through the following Wednesday, Churches will be conducting various outreach activities ranging from Hell Houses and Tract or Treat, to Fall Harvest Festivals; events our communities have come to expect and anticipate from our Assemblies of God Churches!

This is THE time to reach out into your community with some kind of Halloween alternative! Last year according to reports that were turned into us, approximately 250,000 people received some kind of witness from an Assemblies of God church during this same time period! I believe this year we can double that number!

Also, if your church has conducted another outreach or revival campaign that greatly impacted your community in any way in 2007, please send us some information on it. We not only want to include it in the January Alabama Messenger, churches all over the state are contacting us wanting some fresh outreach ideas. We have also been contacted by other Districts wanting more information of things we are doing to reach our communities with the Full Gospel Message! Alabama is not only first in alphabetical order, but God is also calling us to lead the way in evangelism in the U.S.!

Pam and I are seeing a great move of the Holy Spirit in our churches we visit across Alabama. May God continue to breathe His fresh Anointing on all our churches and ministries during the remaining weeks of 2007! We also have qualified evangelists that are ready and willing to work with you on everything from outreaches, youth crusades and discipleship, to church revival campaigns.
